what constitutes "validation" of a medical debt and does anyone know statutes/laws/case laws defining it?

    Hi Jenz,

    God news and bad news.

Bad news; Judges have a strong tendency to hold Medical Providers in higher regard, thus would have a tendency to find in their favor, not yours.

In other words less would be required to rise to the level of validation.

Good news; Medical providers are (or at least in my exp., have been) easier to reach a mutually beneficial compromise.

In my past, I always found a way to blame it all on them (nicely of course) and then apologize profusely for the "silly misunderstanding", and agree to pay in exch. for deletion.

I usually used the old "billing error" concept.

The people that want to be sued LEAST are MP's.

    :)
