I have a 1997 judgment that I am assuming will be removed from my credit report in 2007 (if it is not renewed). If I pay this judgement off, will it restart the clock for reporting purposes or will it still come off in 2007.

Actually the judgment should fall of the report at 7 years. There is nothing associated with SOL and reporting period.

The only thing reportable for more than 7 years is BK7 or a tax lien that has not be paid.

does this mean that the time-clock for reporting purposes won't restart when I pay this off?
