Note the part in the middle about credit card usage.... We won't be able to move money from one card to another using yahoo pay direct...

Breeze, did you know that ACHEX was swallowed up by Western Union? I use to do a lot of transfers through ACHEX,not anymore.

No, I didn't know about them! Yikes!! I missed one?? LOL.

I wonder if the yahoo transfer service can be used? <brain gears turning>

    Those are very disappointing news.

No more accruing 1000 extra miles each month or enjoying grace-period BTs.

But wait, they still haven't told us the worst part:

That's it. I'm opting out December 17, the day this "change" becomes effective. And since PayPal are now introducing new fees as well, looks like I'll be back writing checks.

so do I need to cancel the account? Or should I just leave it the way it is?

No matter what, I have to have an online method of payment. I can barely stand PayPals charges now, so who knows what I have to do to keep them. We will see what happens when the increases socks in. I may have to go to $40 to cover the increase. Seems likely because what they have now is just barely bearable.

I don't think we have to close the accounts, just stop using it. Apparently at this point, there is no charge for having the account. However, once the transactions drop off (as they will of course) I wonder if they won't try charging by the month. I think yahoo is shooting themselves in the foot with this one. I pay for a couple of their services already, because it's something beyond the free services, and they are worth the money, but to take away our little dealie-thingy and start charging us at the same time - Yuck!! Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I hope their little spider thingy reads this, hehe.
