I came across this website today: http://www.federalreserve.gov/pubs/complaints/ Unlike the FTC they indicate that they investigate consumer complaints. I suppose if anyone is having difficulty with incorrect account information on a credit account with a bank this might be a resource with which to get a possible resolution.
Thanks, Hal, for the link. I will check it out. I think the Office of Comptroller Currency also investigates issues like those you mentioned and does so on an individual basis.
