how many CA can collect the same debt ? my sister has 3 CA on her CR all trying to collect the same debt. all three validated the acct, but none will claim the legal authority to collect. all 3 CA are in different states, one of the CA was hired by another CA to collect huh ? the debt is around $ 100.00 she wants to pay it off but doesn't want to pay the wrong party the OC will not respond to her letters any ideas?
