Gulf State doesn't own the account, Yet still verifies it on all 3 CRAs, I sent a fax to them after I sent them a validation letter and they state they no longer own the account yet they aren't in violation cause they report it as SOLD/Transferred. Um. If they no longer are collecting the debt, then why are they reporting it? Opinions?
Do you have a letter from them stating they do not have the account? If so, you can try sending that to the CRA's demanding deletion.
