Answering Interrogatories help!!!

    Received summons and complaint for credit card debt a few months ago. Had the card since 94 was charged off in 2005...sol is six years and I beleive they may have filed a month too late. Anyhow, i denied the debt....there was nothing attached with summons/complaint. I now have received these interrogatories below. I have found some good answers on here but want to gain as many as possible. Any help with answers would be great..also what interrogatories should I send back. I am dealing with a lawyer for the OC. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You!

    1. Before answering the following, kindly make inquiry of such officers,employees, agents and servants of the defendant and kindly make reference to such documents, correspondence, memoranda, records and other papers in possession, custody or control of the defendant as will enable you to make true and full answers to the following interrogatories. have you done so?

    2. Describe the basis for any defense you have to the claims raised by the plaintiff in this action

    3. Please set forth a specific accounting of the amount you claim that the defendant owes plaintiff under the contract upon which this lawsuit is based exclusive of any setoff or counterclaim.

    4. Identify all facts supporting the accounting st forth in answer to the preceding interrogatory.

    5. Identify all documents referring or relating to thefacts in response to the the foregoing interrogatory

    6. Please set forth a specific accounting of all setoffs and counterclaims

    7. Identify all the facts supporting the accounting set forth in answer to the preceding interrogatory.

    8. Identify all documents referring or relating to the facts identified in respone to the foregoing interrogatory.

    9. Identify all communications between you and plaintiff with repsect to the contract upon which this lawsuit is based or upon which any setoff or counterclaim is based.

    10. identify all correspondence between you and plaintiff which refers or relates to the claim upon which this lawsuit is based or upon any setoff or counterclaim is based.

    A few things:

    It's impossible to answer these questions without COMPLETELY understanding your complete background.

    Also, these are probably legal questions that you might want to consult with an attorney if you need help.
