Seems like almost everyone has chopped their BT time limits down to 6 months. Is there anything left that still offers 12mo at 0% (preferably with no BT fee)?
Just got an offer from Advanta Biz - 0% through Sep04... (I had ignored the two previous "0% through May04" that I got in May and June)
ALL CITIBANK CARES ABOUT IS "NEW" CUSTOMERS... I have been with CITIBANK for over one year...SO I DON'T QUALIFY!!! But I can APPLY for a second account at 0.00% (THEY ENCOURAGE THAT)!!! BUT they CAN'T or WON'T reduce what you have to 0.00%!!!! GO FIGURE...
If you have an existing Citi account and want a 0% bt offer for 12 months, read this: http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45805&highlight=shell

SO WHAT DO I DO??? CALL THEM AND SAY I WANT TO "SPIN OFF" $20,000 INTO A NEW ACCOUNT AT 0.00% FOR 12 MONTHS??? AND THEY WILL DO IT WITH-OUT ANY HASSLE OR APPLICATION OR INQUIRY??? And even with the----->UYGF it will WORK??? I did a PFB-----answer was you can APPLY seperatly for the 0.00% BT...SECOND CARD IS FINE...and I will be offered an additional BT in the future for my CURRENT CARD... My 4.90% BT offer is till 08/18/2003...BUT it will be PAID OFF WITH 2 BT'S in a couple of days...
I'd spin off a few thousand and see what you get. I didn't know about the 0% until I actually got the new card. You could always add to the limit later -- after you see what bt offer you get -- (by transfering more of the limit from another card) or close the new account if you don't get the 0% offer.
Not for me. But I'm not George. I did this because I wanted to get a Shell MC. The CSR told me that I first had to open a new Platinum Select account by splitting some of my existing CL to a new account. Then I could convert the Platinum Select card to Shell. I ended up NOT converting and transfering more of my CL to the new card. "R" did this for me without a peep and without an inquiry.
I wouldn't even mention a 0% bt if I were you. Just let them open a new account. That way when new accounts issues the card, they won't possibly override the 0% bt because you have "existing" accounts.
Re: Re: Any 0%/12mo BTs left? NO...I though it might be better to wait till it is PAID OFF in the next few days... They "MAY" say something about 0.00% BT with-out having to "SPIN-OFF" anything...
