Happy day for me. My EQ score managed to hit 649! That's awesome for my situation. Thank you to all. I've still got some to go, but that jump really got my spirits up again. On EQ, I still have - INSTALLMENT - listed as charge off, but says it's paid on time - you go figure! 3 judgements 4 collections - all at least 3 yrs old - 1 listed as paid. I am wanting to start the credit card rebuilding with something other than Premiere. I DONT want to go application happy and take the hit for inquiries. Any thoughts on what to apply for with a good chance at getting with a 649 score that pulls EQ? Thank you again. Everyone here is WONDERFUL!
You might want to try Household - they are pretty lenient and pulled EQ on me - expect a $29 annual fee though
Tried that online. They said the card best for me was the secured card. No thanks. I'll just keep what I have and continue on the road to better credit without them. Thank you for the referral.
I think your problem must be the derogatories as I received some decent cards with a similiar score. There are a lot of helpful postings on this site explaining various methods to get these removed - you just need to spend a lot of time reading them and then persevere with correspondence! Good luck.
