Any dealings with CMI?

    Has anyone had any dealings with CMI, AKA Credit Management?

    I'm dealing with them right now! so far so good, but I'm still in the validation process. Something tells me, it's going to get ugly before this is over!

    I would love to know too. I have a collection from 2 years ago that I would like to have removed. Which way might work best with the company, or try not mine.

    I used not mine and they were deleted from Trans Union. The other two verified.

    I disputed CMI as "not mine". Came back verified. Then disputed the dates. Verified. Disputed the amounts. Changed the amount from $800 to $280. Wrote to CRA midly attacking them for not doing a good enough job. I mentioned and thanked them for the ones they deleted and/or corrected and re-affirmed my dispute on all the others. I stated that we have had a good working relationship up to now and would like to avoid litigation.

    Three days ago, 2 more deleted..... one was CMI!
    :)

    Keep plugging! I think they hate dealing with pains and just make us go away!
