I see they are prominently displayed here under "credit repair"

They seem to do what they say they'll do; however, they will ignore all your emails, faxes, and letters. They also don't answer their phones.

If communication is important to you, don't use Lexington. Try Junum.Com instead. Still, Lexington will help you clean up yourcredit reports.

    RE: Any experiences with Lexin

I've been using their service for ~3 months and have had great results. Just received my updated report from TransUnion and so far they have gotten 19 derogatory listings removed from there. I am waiting for updates from Equifax and Experian and am expecting those in the next few weeks. I know that others have had a horrible time trying to communicate with them but I haven't really had a problem. All of my emails have been returned within a few days and they even called once to answer an email question I had sent them. I am on the $75/$35 per month plan an am very happy with their performance so far.

    Kirk,

Thanks for the info. Could you tell me what the $75/$35 plan is? Also, how did you first hear about them and contact them? I ahve to deal with a forclosure from1998 and a Chap 7 B.K. from 1999.

    Thanks again

I heard about them through Carreon & Associates and others on this board. They have 2 different plans (at least they used to). One has a setup fee of something like $200-300 and a monthly fee of $75. With that one you have a case specialist that is assigned to you and you work only with that person. You can call them directly or email them as often as you like. The plan I'm on is the EClient plan. It has a $75 setup fee and is $35/month. With this plan your case is handled by different people and you don't get a direct phone number to talk to your case specialist. You can email as often as you like but they won't be answered as quickly as if you are on the other plan. You can also call in on this plan but I believe that if you go over a certain number of calls per month you are charged for them. Overall, if you need lots of handholding the more expensive plan might be best for you, but if you're content to just sit back and let them handle stuff for you and communicate through email and fax then I'd go with the cheaper plan. That's what I did and like I said, I've been very happy with the results so far. Good luck!
