This is deadly scary stuff. I have been on Depro Provera for a over year and a half and have been getting progressively sicker and sicker.

I went and looked at that link that was provided in the post above mine and read that woman's symptoms and I have ALL of the same symptoms except for the dizziness and the blurry vison. The team of Doctors and Specialists that have been poking, prodding and x-raying me for months now think I could have Lupus which from what I understand is very similar to Fibromialga (ms?). Just what if this 'so-called' wonderful form of birth control really has been slowly poisioning the bodies of the women that are using it?

I am looking for more research information that has been substantiated by either the Food and Drug Administration or by an independent research facility on the correlation of Depro Provera and other serious side effects. If anyone here knows of any type of research or investigation of this drug I would be grateful if you would provide some information on it. Thanks.

I am for sure. Her name is Savannah my second child. LOL She is a Depo baby. Not to mention I too gained 22 pounds on the shot and then 40 with her.

    Queen bee,

Thank you for the link, I thought I was just getting old and crazy. I do remember asking my husband when all this would end. "When will I feel better?" His comment was that I would feel better in about 18 months after the last shot. We kept counting down the months. I do feel better now, but still have alot of the side effects. Again, thanks.
