When my accounts were charged off (most in 99) I honestly at this time do not know when my last payments were made. I have not really had much success with my online credit reports also saying when the last activity was done-- especially considering that some have been sold to CAs. Is there a reliable way to find out when my last payments were made? In order to figure out when my SOL would begin? Thanks
Hi, I'm not following you around, I just wanted to bump your post up to the top again, and I wanted to say that I am trying to figure out how to find out the last dates for your situation. I know it would really help if you had old credit reports. The board is kinda slow now, so you could bump your post up tomorrow when there is alot of activity. I promise, unless you reply to me, I won't 'bother' you again ;-)
It is a pain, but you could go back and look at old bank account register's, bank statements etc... If you validate with CA you can request an accounting of payments, but if the SOL is not up yet you will be waking up the CA. If you are intending to pay it, it doesn't matter - just go ahead and request validation - then you can see when all your payments were made - if they provide it validation at all that is.
