    Hi everyone:

I need a little advice with this problem:
(I hope I'm not going to have 7 years of negative info on my CR's because of this)

I underpaid my state taxes last year, by 200$. ( I know...my mistake, but I just didn't have the extra money in April 2002) I knew I owed this $$ but the amount was small and I was planning on paying it this year, just never got to it.

Well in April 2003, I get a notice of tax lien in the mail for $230, so i paid it right away.

In early May nothing shows up on EX or EP but there it is on TU...as follows:
    Public Record
    Type Civil Judgement
    Creditor State Tax Commission
    Date April 2003
    Amount 230$

    Questions:
    1. should I try to dispute with TU?
    2. if so dispute as not mine? or as inaccurate? (since it was paid...although have not received any release of lien from the state...that may take a few months)

Any advice from the good people here at CN is aprreciated!
