any way to speed up Bankone?

    I applied for a bank one card like last thursday or Friday, they say my app is still "under review" what they heck do they have to review that takes so darn long? Amex, chase, MBNA, citi: all approvals (or denials:-() in 2 days or less. Anyone know a special number to get my BankOne app pushed through?

    How did you get the info that it was still under review? Mine's been in since Sunday. Good luck on yours!

    1-888-215-3049 is the status number, good luck on yours too, if you call tell me the news, please. Just want to know if mine is ridiculously slow or what.

    Thanks, ero. I'm thinking I'm going to be in the same boat as you...waiting. They just seem to be slow moving! If I call, I will most certainly update you....:)

    Is this automated or do you talk to a real CSR?

    it's automayed but can be put through to a real person.

    I used this number AND never get a SORRY or CONGRATULATIONS...I just get the "PLEASE HOLD FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE"

    I already have 2 accounts and "AU" on a 3rd...THAT MIGHT BE WHY...

    For me from time of application to getting the card was a little over 30 days.

    Bank One's biggest hang-up with me was my address. I received a letter requesting this proof. I called Bank One's CS and explained that I was a current checking and savings account customer.

    During this process I was not aware of any faster way of getting them to either approve or denied my application. It's just the process that Bank One has.

    You can call the CS number and they can check but it's not really different from the recorded messge.
