Anybody know if I can dispite one set of items (inquiries) and then start another invesitgation(seperate letter) before the first one is complete regarding my credit accounts. Basically do you have to wait for them to complete one investigation ( inquiries etc..) before sending in another one. I hope not it would seem that if that were the case it would take a very long time to accomplish very little. I know it sounds like a stupid question but I really don't want to waste any time by violating some rule. Also how is TU with deleting inquiries? Please Advise
I did just that on-line with EXPERIAN...don't do more than 3-4 at a time...wait 2 weeks and do more... EXPERIAN~EASY TRANS UNION~SO SO EQUIFAX~YOU WILL WIN THE LOTTERY 3 TIMES IN ONE MONTH AFTER GETTING HIT BY LIGHTNING 3 TIMES THE MONTH BEFORE (BEFORE YOU WILL GET INQUIRES REMOVED)...EVEN IF YOU HAVE WRITTEN PROOF FROM THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY THAT YOU NEVER APPLIED!!!
I disputed ALL my inquiries on Experian a couple weeks ago, so far seven have come off, the rest are still being disputed. This goes back the 2 years.
Thanks everyone: I think I'll try disputing the inquiries online. One question though, TU doesn't seem to allow you to dispute inquiries online. What's up with that?
George, Would you be able to dispute other derogs on the account instead of inquiries. I.E., send a dispute letter off for 3 derogs, then 2 weeks later send another dispute letter for 3 more derogs. I'm only down to 2 neg. on TU and Exp but EQ has me at 10 GT
