Just cuirous to see if anyone has applied for safeway select bank checking account - I think LKH said he might.... If anyone has applied - were you cross sold a visa - like umbrella bank?

Re: Anyone applied 4safeway yet? LK Yeah I applied online. what a joke. I had to go into the branch to finish because their website is screwed up. I applied for everything under the checking acct. I got approved for everything but the cc. Then it said we may ask you questions from your report to verify your identity. Well, it didn't ask any and then it says they can't confirm my identity so I am denied for all. Then I went into the branch. Showed ID. and got that straightened out. He has to get approval from a higher up to give me the cc which I am still waiting on. I was denied due to "too many installment accts." The idiots are calling my student loans installments - again. I explained all that to the rep at the bank. He will try to get me ok'd for the cc.
