Hi, I applied for Chase on 11/22/03. I just called and they said my application is still pending. Any idea on how long it takes for Chase to decision an application? Thanks...
They've been known to go the full 30 days. Go ahead and give them a call and hopefully they can approve you on the spot.
I applied for the perfect card around Nov. 12th or 13th online. I took 2 days before the application was in the system. Then another 2 days before I got notified that I got the card. Chase is pretty slow because each application is manually reveiwed, at least that what most threads I have read claim.
I got a new Chase card a few months back. I applied and got a decision within 2 days. Thanks to *B*, TU had no inqs and I applied for a 2nd card back on Nov 28th. The inq didn't even appear until the 29th and it was pending as of the 30th. No updates yet. They seem to be slower this time around. What # can you call at to get it pushed through?
I applied for the Cont. World MC on 11/03/03, the TU inq. showed 11/05/03 and the approval came about 2 weeks later. Nothing compared to Bank One, where I applied for the Mileage Plus, the TU pull was on 11/03/03 and the approval came on 11/28/03 Best regards, Mirage
I applied online for the Chase Perfectcard. Said I would receive an email on status when it was reviewed. I got an email about 2 business days later stating where to go for the status of the application. When I went there it told me I was approved and for how much, etc.... I believe they manually review the applications as I didn't see any reference to "instant online approvals." And I have a mortgage and platinum card with Chase so that helped approve me since they could see the payment histories, etc.... It shouldn't take as long as it has been for a decision. Maybe you should call them to check on it.
My perfectcard phone number is 1-800-432-3137 and my chase platinum no is 1-800-334-0601. I don't have a direct number for any other cards but maybe one of those can direct you to the correct area?
I applied for the Chase Stockback card. They took almost 30 days to approve it. When I asked about the delay after I was approved, the rep stated that they had many apps to look at before the holiday shopping season, etc...
iambroke - it kind of makes you wonder why Circuit City doesn't just transfer that new big screen Plasma to the BK Trustee instantly when a customer buys it - and avoid the whole FICO - credit issue - process entirely....... LOL! Just like the state of CALIFORNIA old budget LOL! "Take the food out of the mouths of the schoolkids - but get that nice leather upholstery in the conference room!"
I applied for Chase Continental World card around the 10th or so of Nov. I got my card on 11/26. They are already reporting to EX and EQ. Don't know about TU
