Wondering if anyone has dealt with U.S. Credit & Collections Bureau, and if they had success in having items deleted from CR. I've disputed this paid collection with EQU at least four times. I've used both via CRRR and the online investigation option and have claimed everything from "not mine" to "paid before it went to collections". When I paid the OC, I asked if they would remove it from my CR. The OC instructed the CA to do this, but they refused. The OC said they are powerless to direct the CA to remove it. I know I should have gotten it in writing, but this was before I discovered CN! It's paid, but the DOL is 06/2000 which means I'm going to have to live with this thing for another 3+ years!
