Trans Union just sent me an $8 check. the letter said thank you for the check you recently sent us which covers the cost of your report. Since the check was for an amount greater than the cost of the report we are enclosinmg a refund. Uh, I never sent them a check. Ive tried to order my report online. I also tried to get a freebie by mail by disputing an innaccurate address. But Ive never sent them a check. has anyone gotten a check from TU before?
Years ago...I GOT THEM ALL THE TIME... I would send $16.00 for 2 reports (both of us) and get a refund...sometimes $8.00 sometimes $16.00... I got tired of it...so the next time I just sent the info and they mailed 2 FREE reports...some time later I did the same thing...they send a bill for $16.00... ...but never a check WITH-OUT a report being requested... It could be for a while ago...EVEN 6 MONTHS...
Thanks George! Too bad they never screwed up more and made it $8,000. From what Ive gathered there are some real 'smart people' employed there!
