I sued Providian in Beverly Hills Superior Court and boy have they put up a terrific fight. I sued them for violating FDCPA/FCRA/FTCA trying to collect a debt they sent to three different CA's, (they sent it to one CA twice). They even countersued me! Today was court... didn't go great, didn't go bad either. Curious as to anybody else's experiences...
Re: Anyone ever sued Providian and They countersued me to intimidate me, I would imagine. Why else would they all of the sudden decide to file after a year? The countersuit is to try to recover the balance of the credit card, which I had repeatedly disputed.
