just writing a creditor nicely--I have a jcpenneys 30 day late from 5 years ago and on line disputes just keep coming back verified---Or how has anyone had there best luck in getting them removed??
I had several 30-day lates w/JCP. Wrote them via Planetfeedback and about a week or so later received a letter from them saying they had notified all 3 CRAs to bring my payment history up-to-date. I know it came off Experian, but I don't think it has caught up to TU and Equifax yet. Try it. As long as you have no recent lates.
Can you please a copy of the letter you wrote or can you tell me some specifics of what reason you gave. I have one that will not come off.
