Is it a 1099C ? http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1099c.pdf Looks as if you may or may not have to file it with you tax return.. Check the instructions & do some research - IF they wrongly sent the 1099C ... you may be able to file a complaint with the IRS against them.... I don't know if it's possible - just throwing out some ideas... S23
