I recently sent a certified letter to Chrysler to request proof of late payments and was only sent a printout of my account history. I believe that all of the "late" payments were posted late by Chrysler. I always send my payments in 5-7 days before the due date. I disputed the late payments with all 3 CRAs and sent another letter to Chrysler telling them that an account history printout was not sufficient and asking them to prove it or remove it. Has anyone else had success with auto financing companies removing late payment notations? (Maybe this will give me some hope Also, should an account history printout be considered proof? Thanks all!
