I have an old student loan through Nelnet that has been paid off for several years. On my EQ and TU reports it is being reported fine, but on EXP it is being reported as having been 120 days past due in 1998. I submitted an online dispute with EXP although I don't have high hopes for it being removed. I did a search on the board and saw that others have been in the same situation with Nelnet reporting late payments on closed out student loans...has anyone had success in getting either them or EXP to remove the late payment and if so, what were the steps?
