My friend says they are bugging her about a Providian account. They won't give her their address. When she asked for it they wanted to know why and she admitted that she wanted to send a validation letter. Dumb, she should have said so she could pay but anyway they told her that they would just have Providian handle it. Does anyone have any info on them. Thanks, Kim
I know who they are. They took over an account from Arrow financial after I disputed the account on my credit report. The address is; Nationwide credit Inc. 2015 Vaughn Road, building 400 Kennesaw,GA 30144-7802 Phone is; 1-800-333-5955 PS-The account they have of mine is past the SOL and is due off the CR in 2 months so i think this place is a last ditch effort. They called me 2 wks ago. I asked for an address(before i got this letter from them)and the lady refused to give an address. I just hung up on her. Hope this helps
Thanks, the one. I guess they know why people want their address. I'm going to have her send a cease and desist since they are calling her husband at work everyday. I'll also have her send a validation. We'll see how well they cooperate. This debt isn't that old. I'm sure she has made payments in the last year. Kim
Thank you for the address ! Let me tell you something happened to me recently... they called me for a AMEX debt of $2,200.. I told the man I cannot afford to settle in one lump sum payment ... then he said just sent in whatever amount I could afford ... ok, so I asked for their mailing address so that I can send in my installment ... but he did not give me the address ... the next day .... another woman call me asked me to settle ... again I offer installment pay by month ... that woman seems to be uncooperative ... finally I said I want to validate the debt that you are chasing me ... then that stupid woman put me on hold for a while and when she come back she recite a paragraph saying that this is a debt collector and she is not going to accept monthly payment ... and she assert that I refuse to pay .... and then she hang up .... sound stupid ?
Yeah, AMEX hired them for a charge-off account I had. They were VERY uncooperative. I ended up just going over their heads and paying AMEX directly.. jmart
