Thanks Davey, I haven't had the time to wire in my deposit yet. I will do that Monday and it is supposed to be opened by Wed. I will let you know just as soon as I hear anything. I worry about this because Countrywide Bank is really famous for doing this. They were posted as a non-chexsystems bank, people went wild applying and sending in the opening deposit only to find out that they were later denied when CW did their reports after they received the deposit. CW held on to their money for weeks before returning it. I didn't think I would be in the position to be worrying about this again since I have used Net Bank for almost 2 years and was very happy with them. I will watch the board over the next couple of days to see how you make out. Sam
Hey iamsamiam: Called them yesterday to check on things. According to the rep. I spoke with, everything was ready to go and I should be recieving things by the end of the week. I asked about the automatic funds transfer i authorized when I signed up, and he said they recieved it on their end. I checked this morning and it's been taken out of my acct. Davey, that is really, really great. I am truly happy for you. I still haven't had time to wire in my deposit, am hoping to get it done this week. Obviously, since they are ordering your checks there is no problem. What kind of Chex problems did you have? On a differnt note, I did get a copy of my Chexsystems report. Last summer one bank reported 3 accounts as closed with an nsf balance. I am going to dispute them and see how it turns out. Sam
Sam: As far as my Chex report, I have no idea. I've honestly never looked at it. Probably should soon, but the credit reports are #1 priority. They seem like they're really on the ball...got another email yesterday telling me I should recieve things in 7-10 days. Looks like all is well (fingers crossed). DB
