    There are out of Ohio.
I just beat them in court two days ago.

Helpful hints I learned from their VP in court:
    1. They will probably not have any documents except the signature page of when you originally open the CC account.
    2. Check with your state and make sure they need a license to collect, and that they have it. They use a third party to make sure of the rules of each state and they had let their license lapse in mine two years ago. So they couldn't collect.
    3. They are blood suckers that use scum lawyers to collect their accounts.
    4. I asked for debt validation and they ignored it, took me to court anyway. I am countersuing them for three violations of FDCPA.
    5. They buy 3 billion of debt a year from mostly CC companies. They are kind of sloppy at their bookkeeping-but they collect by intimidation and people not showing up in court. Stand your ground.

I am glad that someone else doesn't like them... :)

I never heard from them, however they started reporting an account apparently MONTHS after the account had been sold not once, but TWICE. I called them the minute they hit my reports, "we don't own your account, you need to call <the company we dumped the account on> at 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx"; surprisingly the company that they dumped the account on said the exact same thing referring to a third company... ;)
