    $7.95 per dispute?

I'm available if you need me. Hire me, I'll do $5.00 per dispute.

Let me do the math for you.

    Here is an example:

    1) $7.95 per dispute
    2) You have 5 derog accounts on EXP, 7 on EQ and 8 on Trans Union. = Total of 20 disputed items

    You can dispute them about every 8 weeks. Equals 20 disputes X 6 = 120 disputes X $7.95

    Grand Total of $954.00

Those are JUST disputes. Naturally if some fall off, then the Grand Total will drop, but all these companies do is dispute through the CRA's. The best bet is to go after the Collection Agencies and OC. Seriously, I have disputed, validated, offered settlement and pleaded probably 10 times on 1 account and it is still there!

Do it yourself for a few months, you will probably get the same success that they do. Find letters from this site. Start with the CRA, and dispute the accounts as "not mine". Good Luck!

    Don't do it

Avoid them like the plague. I will give you an example of what can happen with clear credit (formerly "Junum").

They charge you $5 per dispute (thats what it used to be). Say you have 30 derogs on all 3 reports. They dispute all 30 -- Bam you owe them $150.

They also charge you $15 per deletion. Of those 30, they get 10 deleted. bam another $150.

They then redispute the remaining 20 items -- another $100. Of those they get 5 off, you owe them another $75.

Thats $475 and you would still hae 15 derogs left. And the money will just keep building up. Yes its a "free membership" -- that is if they never dispue anything. My cousin tried Junum and he wound up having about $1200 charged to his debit card before it was all said and done. Plus, he still ahd derogs left over.

You are much better off doing it yourself.

If you would like a real nice history of them send an email to junum@autobotinfo.com

Its an autoresponder and not an email to me or any other real person.

Save your money. I joined back in Nov 02 and they are still on the original credit report cycle. I was charged for 30 disputes x 5 dollars each. No deletions. I recently cancelled them as they have done nothing for 4 months.

Do it yourself and save your money.
