Is there anyone here that would be willing to help me one on one over the phone and/or email (or in person if you are in the Los Angeles area) to devise a plan to increase my credit score? I just want someone that can go over my report(s) with me and help me devise a plan to increase my score (what letters to send out and when strategy). I would obviously be willing to pay for this and I need somebody with an established history on this board because we will be going over my very personal information. Iâ??m afraid to go with a place like Lexington Law because I am willing to send the letters out myself and have heard mixed reviews about impersonal credit repair companies. My basic situation, I am 23 years old and filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy a little over 2 years ago. Before the bk, I had stellar credit and have paid off a car loan financed thru Mercedes Benz and several other satisfactory accounts . I paid for my credit score/report last week and I believe it was around 458 (the report is not in front of me at the moment). A couple months ago I checked it and it was almost 600 (Iâ??ve had two collections since then from a â??rent to ownâ? furniture company totaling around $2500). The report â??weighedâ? the positive/negative aspects of my score, and my established credit history is good, the only thing killing my score is collections/charge-offs and of course the bankruptcy. After my bankruptcy I was able to get a car loan (which has since been paid off) and 2 credit cards, unfortunately the 2 credits cards are now â??charge-offsâ? on my cr. I have a credit card with a $20k limit that has been in good standing for 21 years (my parents added me to the account when I was like 2 years old apparently). Sorry for the long post, I just need some help! I know I have been VERY irresponsible but I have a good job now and am trying to get back on track. My short term goal (4-8 months or so) is to increase my score enough to qualify for a car lease or loan with a reasonable interest rate (I recently purchased a 2009 car in cash but I'm not sure that has any impact on my credit score). I would like to purchase a house within the next 2-4 years. Some people say it is worse to contact my creditors and pay them, so I figure I might as well try to get them removed the hard way first and make that my last resort. Thanks for readingâ?¦Kevin
hi apex! thanks so much for your reply, i tried to call your number but it was temporarily disconnected or something (888-727-4815). Anyway, i really do appreciate your reply and will consider your services. One question, your profile states you are in WV but the company website says Nashville, why is that? There are so many scam companies out there (I'm not saying you're one of them) so hopefully you do not take offense to my question thanks again..kevin
I know that Apex had some problems with the phone company and their number--the phone company screwed something up. Try contacting him through his web site.
