I am so mad right now... MBNA and their Apple instant loan.... I have cleaned up my credit, worked so hard to make it perfect, and perfect for me means... no derogs, only 1 inquire, 698 because of one high balance... no lates... no negatives at all... I wanted $6000 of credit... is that too much to ask for someone with $34,000 worth of credit... just $6000 of credit... they give me $2500... I call the apple store, and I get Joe Apple head! telling me that $2500 is pretty standard for Apple finance... Then to add insult to injury they jack me for 26.99% APR... Anyone else with this kind of Apple finance story???? Just curious is it just me??????????
I just got off the phone with MBNA, they told me to call back on Monday, (today is Saturday) and speak to a credit manager? She said that this department only works from Monday to Thursday 8am to 7pm... And that they are the only ones that can authorize credit changes to my account... Sounds crazy to me????
Call 800 421 2110... ask for the Gold Option Department, The Apple loans for Computers are usually a line of credit that is accessed by checks. Gold Option Loans depending on your Credit History as well as depth of file, ect are usually at a higher interest rate, anywhere from 14.99 to 26.98. Also, the credit department works 7 days a week.
didn't i tell you this in a previous post? Hell i get 24.99% apple loans with 710 averaged scores , no derogs, AND 3 mbna visa/mc totalling $25K (with many 0% Bt offers). lol. this is their subprime lending group . I'll tell ya a little secret, if you dont use it, they'll probably call you in 6-7 months to offer you a platinum plus credit card (@work) due to your "great business relationship". lol
Not apple here but DELL did that to us! We applied and our scores are like yours...no negs, nothing bad..all paid as agreed...just alot of credit. Well they gave us a whopping 1500cl w/27.99% interest OUCH....when we have 9% credit cards and lower....Needless to say we never bought a Dell....but now we have a stupid inquiry to deal with!!
Dell gave me a 1500 credit line @ 27.99 and the same with my mom and we both have good credit. of our 45 dollar payment.. 33.00 goes to interest!
You're fortunate to even have been approved. I have spent the last two years deleting items off of my report and walked into the Apple Store with a 649 on EXP, and after entering in all of the info, I was declined on a $1500 request. DLee http://www.threateningletters.com
APPLE CREDIT UPDATE!!!!!!! Just got off the phone with MBNA Supervisor, increased my credit line from $2500 to $6500!!!! Bad news is I got so excited that I forgot to ask about the intrest rate?!?!?!?!?! will let you guys know....
Apr still at 26.99% Increase my limit, but won't change my rate? Is there a way to change this Gold Option Loan into a credit card?
