And I got denied, but today I got a letter saying a was garantueed approval for their gold card with a limit of up to $10.000. ........ they will match the limit to what ever amount I send to them. lol. And I thought I was able to get prime cards! Sure brings me back down to earth.
A well worded letter to their executives via PFB may get you that card, if you fax them your pre-approval. BofA has the nicest executives I've ever dealt with.
Bummer Leo, but BofA plat is a little harder to get than most cards. Not sure if you are still searching for a new card or not but www.statefarm.com is offering a card, rate not too bad 11.9, limits seems good with a nice income and they seem to pull Experian and has given approval to most with scores in upper 600's. They don't have instant approval but you can call and ask the status hours after you apply.
Re: Applied for BoFA platinum selec bailey, I got approved for BofA Platinium Mastercard two years ago and I got approved for the first time. After a year and half I applied for Platinium Visa and I also approved. I don't know how tough it is. I think the toughest one is Juniper Mastercard and they need 54 months of credit history in order to qualify one. The easiest one is Target Visa and they seems to give it to anyone who apply. Ron.
Re: Applied for BoFA platinum selec I got a preapproval for their platinum visa, applied 2 days ago. It has since been saying they can't give a final decision at this time, contact us next business day. Does anyone know if this is normal?
Re: Applied for BoFA platinum selec Erica, At least they approved you a Target Card and it may be an opportunity for getting Target Visa half a year from now. Ron.
Re: Applied for BoFA platinum selec I won't tell, I promise. Especially since I shop at Wal*Mart occasionally. SHHhhhhhhhh
Re: Applied for BoFA platinum selec I got told to wait awhile by Target Visa's online application system today. Should I call their credit department tomorrow? What should I say?
