I applied online for MBNA worldpoints and after hitting submit realized I forgot to click the 2 questions at the top of the application 1)do you make more than 15,000 a year? 2)is your account free of delinquincies and or bankruptcies, something like that anyways, I immediately (15 mins after) called the tele app line and asked what to do and they said my app didn't show up in the system yet but I could apply over the phone then, I declined called back and spoke to another rep he said if I omitted those my app would be automatically deleted, I said okay so I will apply again and he said double apps are automatic decline, now I don't know what to do. Do I wait and see if it shows up in the system or do I folllow the guys advice and submit another app and hope that my first app never shows up which would mean an automatic decline.

    Help!

Just wait three or four days and call the credit dept. to see if they have your app on file (via SS#).

If they do, and they declined you based on missing those two questions (which I highly doubt), then ask to speak to an analyst for a reconsideration.

If they don't, then re-apply again.

I hope it works for you,
