My wife has a bankruptcy and a number of charge offs on her report from the early 90's following her divorce. She would like to rebuild with a secured card, however it appears most require one good trade line. As she currently has no credit cards or loans, are there any which she may have a chance of qualifying for?

Why don't you put her on one of your exisiting accounts as a joint applicant?

Thank you, it sounds like an option worth exploring. Do you know if her credit history will have any impact on my account, such as lowering my limit or a rate increase?

    Thanks, Paul.
