Here is a little trick I used to apply for my cards. Since Experian is my perfect report, I applied for all the card companies that appeared on mine and my husbands reports as soft inquiries. You know, the ones for offers for credit. I got them all and with excellent limits and terms. My only regret is that I applied for Aria, and we all know what I did with that one.

I would do that, but Cross Country Bank is the only credit card company that makes "soft" inquiries on my credit report!

I had Discover, Cap 1, Providian, Aspire(did't apply)and BofA. Nextcard said they could not verify my info. but didn't actually deny me. They wanted me to send in all kinds of proof but I declined to do that. The list from credit mania is pretty accurate too, according to our credit reports.
