I was applying for Shell Platinum Select Mastercard and I got the message "Wait for 3 to 4 weeks for processing and wait for answers from the mail. I applied for the card because I got 10% gas rebates on Shell gas for 60 days applying before March 31. I don't know what CRA they pulled from? Ron.
You must have applied for the card from Citi. I didn't bother to switch to Citi when Shell's arrangement with Chase ended. I stayed with Chase and got Chase Freedom Card and it gives me 5% off at any gas station. I have a Citi and they pulled TU.
pcotten, I didn't have Chase Shell Mastercard. I applied for one because I got 10% gas rebates before the end of March. I had a couple of Citi credit card accounts and I don't think I have any problems to get the card. By the way, Chase has removed Chase Freedom Card on-line application two months ago. It seems a better deal than Shell MC because you can purchases any brand names of gasoline to get 5% gas rebates. Ron.
