Yay! I found out I WAS approved! I have 2 inquiries from First USA. They pulled EXP. I have a 25k limit!! What's weird is that I now have 13 inquiries on my EXP.... AND my score just jumped up 21 points for no reason?? Its at 760 now on CE.
Ender: Congrats! That's one heck of a credit limit you got. I know you stated you have a 760 CE score, but if you don't mind, can you give some more stats as to your overall credit picture (i.e., what income did you state in your appl, what is your current utilization rate on existing accounts, how many accounts are being reported, etc.) I currently have a First USA secured card which I opened a year ago when my scores were low, and now I am in prime land and would like to know how you managed such a fat limit. chriscraft: here are the answers to your questions: income stated: 140k current util: 3% 13 positive accounts 0 negative I think it has to do with reporting a big income. I also stated I own my house, lived there 20 years and don't pay any mortgage. Hope that helps..
