Roni, I have seen an ENT do a pamplet on his practice and I thought it was really cool, it would attract me to his practice if I needed a ENT, I work in a Dr's office with no advertising, it's peds so not much advertising needed since it's the only office in my town and surrounding areas(PEDS OFFICE THAT IS) kids overflowing as it is, so don't need it but I think its a good thing especially for a new practice.

    Congratulations!!!

    I knew you would!!!

Nice refined ads get my business. Nothing flashy :)
And don't forget the yellow pages. Advertising brings business. People have to see your name, and remember it. Then they will tell their friends, and then you will have to hire more people, and open another office......

Now Roni - 1935 x roughly about $80 per person is $154,800. This almost covers the whole loan. Let's reconsider this offer now. LOL!

Hey I need a cleaning and a filing, hubby needs his wisdom teeth pulled! So if we figure 50% of the 1935 have spouses, thats 2902 clients at $80 a visit= $232160, you're gonna need another office!
    CONGRATS!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I know you'll be very successful.
I stay away from medical/dental professionals who do too many fliers, ads, etc. That seems like they're more in to quantity than quality, that they're more interested in the business end than the practice.
I found my current dentist by referral. An acquaintance used to work for him, and I was impressed by how well he treated his employees. He's a true "family practice" kinda dentist. My last dentist was terrible to her employees. When she copped an attitude with me I told her to stick it.

I've never seen any advertising, but he does have a real nice yellow pages ad.
I have thought about switching, tho. Just because his front girl is a real biatch & I'm tired of dealing with her. I may talk to him about it first.

Thanks again everyone. I ran into a little glitch today. The current tenant is trying to prolong his move out date. It appears that his new office construction is running off schedule. But where does that leave me. I think the landlord/leasing agent is gonna throw him out.

I feel kinda bad b/c he has been there for 20 years. This is a new landlord and doesnt really care. I want the place so I am biased to get him out too. Quickly. I am having a blast looking at equipment...NOT....the prices are astronomical. One little compressor is $9K. Oh boy! See why fees are so high......lol $$$$$$

    smoochies!

Are you going to have the "OLD FASHIONED" spit sink? or suction only?

I like the old fashioned spit sink with the water fountain to fill the cup...they NEVER get all the "STUFF" with suction...

Sorry, no Cuspidors for me Georgie. I guess you never considered not all patients are a good aim when they spit....lol. Especially the kids. It is SO gross to clean up. They even hit he walls sometimes. Osha is very important to me and a "spit bowl" makes that almost impossible.

I am busy tonight surfing the net looking at dental chair designs...how fascinating.....lol
