Hoping to get out of the 600+ FICOs now that I actually know what my real score is... Got approved for a WalMart - $400, and Target - $200. Hey its a start... Target will be opening up with about a 32% utilization... just so it'll show a usage and payment history from the start. Waiting to get my WalMart card, I filled out a paper app in store, expecting nothing more than the free umbrella, and the free official credit report. Saw the Eq inq entry and called, and was told that it was approved. Luckily both inqs were with Eq, my middle score so that's the only score which took a few points hit for the inqs... Just when I was about to say that no one checks Eq...
Target is pulling a Crap-One Equifax lists my wife's credit limit as $63, instead of $300 on her guest card.
As long as it doesn't open up saying that it was 3-4 months late the month it was opened, its a move closer to accurate reporting...
LOL ... I am seriously thinking of charging up to the hilt, and once the monthly statement generates, return all merchandise to get a better picture on her reports
