I applied online yesterday -- the last day the preapproval I received in the mail was good -- and found out today online that the account was approved. They do offer online instant approval, but my application was a "requires additional processing" deal.

I'm on the phone with them now trying to find out what the terms are.

Very Cool. If I recall correctly, they don't report to the CRA's. Probably to D&B, though.

I'm thinking now that I'm a free agent again, I need to structure myself to be able to get those kinds of deals. Any thoughts on what the minumum corporate structure required is?

OK -- $5,000 credit limit, 9.9% APR for purchases, 19.99% APR for cash. $2,500 cash limit.

DaveLV is this a corporate card? If so did you use your fed tax id or did you have to use or ssn, I own my own business and would like to get some credit under it. I so far have a cell phone service and that is it.

I responded to a preapproval I got in the mail. I used my SSN and made up a business name and gross sales.

I just got the same offer. 8.9% APR - .3% rebate on gas - no annual fee - 0% APR on BT's and up to 100,000 in working capital.

I have a real business and gross sales figure...what did you get for a limit? How does it report?

I am thinking of sending this in. What are your thoughts since you hav had this card?

Thanks Dave ... See you soon.

kbanger, try blue business or Amex business card, they seem to be business friendly.I think they like a gross of 50,000 and a score over 680.

    Hey there, Nave. :)

So far, it's not reporting anywhere. They pulled Experian for me here in Nevada if I didn't mention it up there somewhere. I got a $5,000 limit. I think I said something on the order of $250,000 gross sales. I didn't know if there was a trigger somewhere where they'd want proof.

    Good luck!

I just applied for Advanta. No instant approval, I received a message regarding further processing. Beware... They pulled All three credit bureaus!!.

And Regarding Atlantic Coast Federal they pulled my Equifax Report Twice!! www.acfederal.com

AC Federal did the same for us. Pulled EQ twice. Had us fax in mother's maiden name, 4 personal references, income verification.

After receiving those, they called and indicated they're sending the contract to sign. Once it's returned to them, they print the cards.

They seem like a very small operation and have been friendly and helpful thus far. They just seem to have a lot more red tape than is the norm for ccs.

Hope they don't get spooked at all the attention they've probably gotten as a result of being mentioned favorably here.

Watch out Dave, I had an Advanta Business and they jacked my rate when my credit utilization got too high (they pulled an account review right before the first year was up). I wrote them a $4k check and said goodbye.

Did not report to CRA's at any point in the process (just inquiries).

I actually had a business at the time, and they never verified.

Thinking of apply for Advanta. I keep getting offers from them in the mai. I recently incorporated my business from a sole propriertorship. Does anyone know if I would still need a personal guarantor?

Ok Thanks for the info LV. I wonder if they will pull all 3 since I got the pre-approval. I think I will try for it and if they jack the rates like they did to Racer, I will dump em too...after all it is no fee.

The "no-reporting" thing is key, that is why I was asking...I have enough "reporting" trades, I could use a few hidden ones.

Life is so much better now that I only worry how many inquiries I will have, not if I will get the card or not :))

    See you at the slots!
