Hello Dogman, First of all Congrats to you as well on getting the dell preferred credit line and yes I check this morning just now and it shows the available credit is $4000 and it shows the last 4 digits of the account no and the rest with xxxx so yeah I am glad that I am approve but I will need to wait to find out the apr I got approve for... anyways is good to have a credit line with dell.... Hello There, Just receieved the Dell Preferred Credit Line welcome letter today the CL is $4000 and the APR is prime + 12.24% which is 16.99% but then it saids not less then 12.99% well I only purchase a PDA and a case only for now I have to think twice about it to purchase a computer with it.... Just tried it, too. Got APPROVED for a $5K line at 15.9% with Dell/CIT OnLine Bank. I still have a BK13 and several included accts showing on all three CRA's (all from 1996...they pulled EXP.) CreditExpert score 652 at the time!

Hello kinetix, I got the offer for a pre-approve fleet platinum visa card by email... I already have a fusion card with them for a year... started off with a classic card and upgraded to fusion card couple of months ago... they gave me another card the fleet titanium visa card with a $2500 line and 10.99% apr 0% for BT for 6 mons... is a very nice and good looking card is sort of a metallic green color fleet has been very good with me... no problems at all so far.... good luck if you apply with them... I know that this has been asked before but here goes again. Who is CIT? Are they Citibank or Citibank affiliated? I'll bet if CIT is Citibank affiliated that Dogman did not list Citibank in his BK.
Hello everyone , I got approved for a Dell too (they pulled experian) they gave me 1500 online. Then I called and they extended it to 5000. It seems like the sales people there are so anxious to sell you a dell there welling to talk to the credit department for you to get more credit. Also it looks great on your credit. But please ... remember how you got in trouble with credit before, just because they give you more credit does not mean you have to get a more expensive computer. Be responsible Thanks everyone

Dogman , Thankyou for starting the thread without this thread I would have not applied . As I expressed to everyone before I have ok scores but I dont have a lot of crdit history . I got the Target Guest two days ago and now I have the DELL . All I need now is a a real credit card ( visa , mastercard) . someone that pulls equifax and doesnt mind my score . I was thinking about Circuit City visa .You are right about the car loan , if you have sorta good credit it doesnt matter just as long as you have a Instalment loan that is around or close to a year old in I1 status . thanx again creditneters
Thank you Platinum. Dell is not Citibank related. I called Dell and their rep was unable to tell me this but she did tell me that 20% of people applying for Dell credit are rejected. Also, the minumum limit is 1500 and the max is 5000. apr depends on credit worthiness just like the limit.
Heck....figured I would join the club too so I applied online with a 636 Experian score according to creditexpert and got a $1500 approval too. I wonder if u can get the card without ordering right away though and the CL??? Thickman66
Hi Thickman66 - yes - you can open the acct without a purchase. I bought a backup UPS for $119 ... I needed it. It would also be fun to buy - oh - a set of blank CDs for $10 - and then complete the acct.... aarrff - dogman
