hi thickman66 - yup, they send a packet out with a card ande terms - fast too! BUT, it is one of those plastic cards that is the cheap flex kind. You could carry it - it looks nice - white with Blue border and big DELL Preferred Acct - then your name and number. But it is 1/2 the thickness of a regular card - they know you will probably use the acct number online. I did not receive my interest rate until I made a purchase - at which time you automatically get your acct number and balance info. The best thing is it is a revolving credit account - later - dogman
I didnt know Dell was a revolving account . I was actully kind of worried to add another installment loan onto my reports even though all of my installment loans are in perfect condition. thanx
hey jobtimer Maybe I did not say that correctly. I got a $1500 line, and the DELL card.... I used $119 - so I have $1381 available. When I pay off the $119, I will have $1500 line of credit available for use whenever I want in the future. Maybe someone can verify - but I haven't seen the credit reports yet - I am not sure if they report as: Dell Financial Services (DFS) or CIT. I believe they will report as a regular credit card - probably not as installment loan - I COULD PAY $4.00 monthly for the $119 power UPS! I have to say, I AM HAPPY TO HAVE THIS NEW DELL LOC! Hope this helps - dogman
Heck...you know guys I just want to be so strong in the credit department that when I want something they will just ask...Mr . Thickman...how do you wish to pay...cash or credit.
