Dog, That's good news, mostly because it proves how powerful your new credit record is. As I told a friend, after a while your record is so good that you're more real than the banks. GEORGE is right about Fleet, and I honestly think they won't stick around once you get the $25K limits you so richly deserve. But it's fun, and you can enjoy it while it lasts.

I just called them and got the same lazy rep in new accts I talked to last week - not the good one LOL! This one told me it is on a mgr desk and there was nothing she could do. I should call back in a couple more days. This time, I told her that Mxxxxx told me that if she did not see me in the hopper by Monday, she would walk it over to the service delivery mgr's desk. The rep was surprised I knew where it was, and that the mgr was within walking distance for Mxxxxx. I also mentioned that I just got CHASE approval for World Mastercard - but I wanted to keep with AMEX. Of course, I am still in queue. I still see 2 negs left on EQX also - but today is the 6th and they must be gone by the 10th. I have to say, I sure get a different response from these card companies when I click in and they tap 749-755! APPROVED! I am sure they wonder why they had not picked me up on prior pre-approved credit bureau feeds (Oh because my score was 100 points lower 2 weeks ago) Of course, my methodology is carry the GOLD until I get the preapproved offer for the Platinum Card! LOL! I am thrilled about TITANIUM and WORLD. Sounds and looks better than Cap One, Orchard, FCNB, and of course our beloved NEXTCARD! arooo - DM

I was doing research on what cards I am aiming for and it looks like the: B of A (Plat) Bank One's United Plus AMEX Gold AMEX Delta or AMEX Blue. Not sure about the Chase World MC as Bank One's United appears to be the same product expect of course it's for UAL. Just lost another 5 points on my CE-EXP score- 668. The only difference is that I used my Field's cc and charged $241.00 on a $503.00 CL. Oh well still have to wait another 30 days. Really glad to see that you and Niceguy are moving forward, at least I know what I can expect in about 45 days. Best regards, Mirage

The fascinating thing is how hard it was to get a lousy $500 car just a couple of years ago. Same exact Dogman - except no negs on credit. It was worth it though - to have some high limits in existence when you apply - no doubt my AMEX limits and my Cap One at $5323 qualified me for automatic $5K. I think it is critical to get a card after BK, stick with it and turn it into something that reports over $5K. Of course $5K is the automatic premium card category. aarff - dogman
