    Hello There,

I just got approve today a Atlantic Coast Federal Visa Gold card! $5000 and 11.7% apr.. they do pull two hards on equifax so if you get approve online that is one hard inq and they will pull another hard for a manual review before approving and also they require 2 personal references and a paycheck stub from me before they send me an approval email.. they will send you some loan docs to sign before they issue the card... Hey Thanks again MarkLA and Sam for the link to the bank...

    Thx,

    Kev

i'm gonna follow through with mine too. They are mailing the request for 4 personal references, 1 signature card, 1 payroll stub.

Be prepared - 2 hards - This is a small operation.

Might as well , since i already paid the piper on inq's

Is it really worth 2 hards though if you hadn't already applied?

What's the price of an Equifax hard these days...

1 EQ hard = -3 points for me (just a few days ago)... your mileage may vary.

For me, about 7 pts each. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass. Maybe I should have worded it differently. Is there some offers or perks with this card that would make it worth the extra inq? I haven't accepted the preapproved cap 1 offers that I get because I don't want 2 or 3 inq's pulled.

In any event, Congrats Kev and Sam.

    LKH,

We got hit for the 2 inqs too, but felt like it was worth it for a $15K platinum line at 9.9% (More help for the business.) Of course, our opinions are certainly tempered by the fact of bumpage.

We haven't heard of any special promo offers yet, and with ACF being apparently so small, what we have gotten already may be as good as it gets.

(Now if they don't report, they'd be looking rather like a jewel, but I assume they will report.)

We just got the signature card paperwork in the mail today (going right back in the outgoing mail) so I guess the card will be here in a couple of weeks or so.

LKH, my post was a backhand way of refering to bumpage. It makes applying for things that pull Equifax a lot lest "costly" these days.

Aaahh. Well, in my case it wouldn't be worth it after what equifax did to me this week.

DemPooches: Did they already tell you that you were approved for 15k limit.??

I also filled 15k as the loan amount in the application. But I have not received any response yet.

    Geo,

Yes, we got the instant approval online and then confirmed it with them on the phone.
