Hello There, Well I just went in to a Nordstrom Rack store today and when I check out the cashier ask me if I would like to get a $20 gift coupon on the next purchase at Nordstroms I said sure how do I get that the rep told me well just apply for the Nordstrom Visa and if you are approve and if you spend $100 or more you will qualify I said sure let's give it a shot... well she call it in and within a minute or so she saids Congrats you've been approve for a classic visa with a cr line of $3000 and 14.90% apr I said Thank You and left smiling . they pull exp my creditexpert score was 735. I would not have applied for that card. 3k and 14+% is not aceptable for the higher scores and the cards you already have.
Congrats on getting the card. However, with that score, I would have left with half a smile......14.9 is a couple points higher than I would expect from a score of 735.
Kevin, Congradulations for your approval for Nordstrom Visa. Once I wanted to apply for Nordstrom Visa and I decided not to apply for one because we don't have any Nordstrom stores in San Antonio. When I was in Los Angeles, they have two or three stores over there. I used ot have Nordstroms Charge card ten years ago and I never used it. I'm sure they're closed for me. I still have Nordstroms account history on my Experian credit report. Ron.
I used to have one years ago, but closed it because they offered an extremely low cl of only 1,500. I still have a regular Nordstrom store card with the same CL. This has been enough for me for there because I just don't shop there that often. It is a nice enough store I just don''t quite know what to make of it because it is not top notch stuff like Neimans or Saks and also not moderately price items like Lord & Taylor or Macys.
