Best Buy? What CRA do they pull from? What should I have for a FICO in that report? I haven't tried to get anything for almost a year, but am afraid to try because last year I was turned down 3 times!
Hello cma, with your scores I think you should have a chance what's the reason for the decline the last couple of times when you apply... I think the gm card, bestbuy card they pull equifax I think.... since it has been a year you can give it another shot and see what happens good luck to you.... Thx, Kev
Thanks for your help Kev. I can't remember what the reasons for decline were since it's been so long. I do remember that I received letters in the mail with 4 or 5 reasons. I am currently disputing things with EQ, so when I get my results back sometime next week, I probably will try and get a BestBuy card. Thanks again!

Hello Diane, when I apply according to a score I got with a 3 in one report it saids 690 but I know that is not the FICO score I can't use credit watch for some reason and they keep telling me that is due to technical difficulites... Hey Kev, I got approved for the GM card on Sunday. I got a $5000 loc with 9.9% and 0% for bt's for the first 6 months. My score was 720 and they pulled Equifax. Also, with the Best Buy deal, if you apply online, they give you the option to apply for a Household mc at the same time, but they will pull 2 inquiries, one for each. I did this in Feb. I had about a 660. I got denied for the Best Buy but approved for a Household Gold mc.
LKH My EQ score is 659 now. Is that the one they pulled? Also, what was your LOC on the Household card? Int rate and fees? Thanks
