I currently have score ranges from 704-789 and I would like to get some 0% BT offers. I have 31% available revolving credit available now. The last time I applied for 0% BT offers about 7 mos. ago I had 20% available revolving debt available and I only got approved for 1 BT card with CITI Bank w/ $3100 limit.

I got turned down by Fleet, MBNA, and Chase for have too much credit card debt. I also have my Discover card balance at 0% for another 6 mos. I would like to get at least 10K-15K (additional total limits) to BT the rest of my credit card debt over at 0%. I also have 2 more open credit cards, plus one closed credit card with a balance as well.

I would like to apply with 2-3 credit card companies, but would like to get opinions beforehand. I do not want to apply if you folks think, I will get denied again, thus having more hard inquiries bringing down my credit scores.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think you will get approved for anything close to 10 to 15k with your utilization that high sorry.

Will, I was hoping to get 2-3 new cards with about $4K credit limit per card to give me a total of $10K or more of credit to transfer the balances over on the new cards.

POOKY have you tried your local credit unions they are usually score drivrn and a score of 680 will usually get you a plat card rate of 9.9 fixed and whatever your monthly gross income is they will double it for your cl.... good luck.

You probably cannot get new credit. I pretty much stay at a high utilization of my credit all the time, but I still get offers ranging from 0-6.9%, the trick is to shuffle the debt to the lower interest cards and to try to minimize the number of cards with balances on them. I have built my credit to over 150,000 this way.
