I have six! Help. I'm trying to buy a house within 2 months. How can I prevent them from being reported!

YES THEY ARE, THEY USUALLY GO TO A COLLECTION AGENCY (CA)!!

Pay them if you can afford to...believe me, you will end up paying them in order to process the mortgage, and within two months you can be ahead of the "score" game by paying them, and trying to prevent from appearing on your credit report.

Believe me, when it comes down to getting a mortgage or not for your dream home, you won't care. And you'll be running around trying to expedite payment, get proof of payment, forward to lender, etc. IT'S NOT WORTH IT! PAY, CLEAR "DEBT", THEN FIGHT THEM!!

P.S. Mortgage rates are starting to climb again, act fast, in two months I think rates will be 1/2-1 point higher (real estate market is softening!)

Good Luck, I know what you're going through!

P.P.S. Take the advice of all these websites, and the home buying sites:

    1) Get ALL your credit reports
    2) Start cleaning up as best you can
    3) Try to get "pre-approved" for a mortgage (not "pre-qualified")
    4) Start organizing all the paperwork required (pay check stubs, W-2s, bank accounts, etc.)

    GOOD LUCK!

There is NO guarantee they will show up...ON THE OTHER HAND...there is NO guarantee that they WON'T SHOW, UP UNLESS YOU PAY THEM IN FULL...

YOU PAY AT CLOSING "IF" THEY SHOW ON THE CREDIT REPORT(S)

Yes they are and can be sent to a CA which will hurt your scores.

Best thing is to make payment arrangements if possible and prevent them from going to a CA.

What about Traffic Tickets?. I already have one for overlimit speed around $168 in FL last January. Does anyone know if they will report this if I do not pay the fine? what is Status: "D/6 issued"?.

I don't know about reporting traffic tickets but here in Jacksonville, FL (I think it's all across the state) they suspend your license for that type of stuff so I would check with DMV.

Yes, That´s right. The Dr License is suspended, But I used a foreign License when I rented that car in Budget in January, so how can they suspend a license from a foreign country?. My concern is if they will report it to the cr bureaus or not. Anyone know about it?

    Geo,

As a former employee of a local FL police department if you are stopped by an officer and produce a foreign license they might do a FL DL check by name anyway. IF it is suspended you MIGHT be arrested. All of course depending on the officers mood at the time.

I wouldn't be driving on a suspended license here in Florida. They can send you to jail for that plus huge fines......even though it's foreign you are here driving without valid driving privileges. And I'd advise you to stay off the road as if you cause an accident it could be very bad....

    Geo,

This is prolly too late (I'm a busy man on the weekends) but I had two city parking tickets end up on my CR. I eventually had to pay them in order to renew the tabs on my license plates.

ANY BILL CAN BE REPORTED...if they pay a fee...

And we learned earlier...they don't even have a 500 minimum quantity (one is fine)
