Mail call in the jlynn household was very interesting yesterday. I received an updated Experian report, showing all of my Foleys lates were deleted. EX was the last holdout. In that same mail pile, I received a letter from Foleys: "In order to comply with your request for a Credit Bureau correction blah blah", they needed mine and DH's SS#. Where's the motivation, they already updated? LOL I have a pending validation with a CA for a JC Penney charge off. JC Penney sent me a copy of statements yesterday. Don't they know it has to come from the CA? <grin> But even stupider - they sent me copies of statements from 8/99, 11/99, 2/2000, 4/2000, 8/00, 9/00. My records indicate the last payment I made was in 4/2002. Should I just deduct from the 9/2000 balance all payments for that 1 1/2 yrs, and offer to settle? <grin>
