Are your TU scores way off?

I just received my TU report and score. It said my score was 568. Now, I know that my Experian score (real score, not credit expert) is 720. My Beacon score is 714. This makes no sense to me.

All three reports are basically the same. No derogs (no late pays, no collections), 14% credit usage, one installment loan (auto). No inquiries in the last six months; five inquiries 18 mos. to two years ago. Credit history of approximately 10 years. The only difference among the accounts is that TU shows a $212 current balance on a Macy's card; it shows as paid on Experian and Equifax. (The request to TU was submitted before Macy's updated)

Reasons are "too much revolving debt" and "too many revolving accounts."

Any explanation for the gross disparity, besides TU is nuts? Anyone else experience this.

Sorry. Most people average about 20-30 points higher on their TU scores vs. EQF Fico. Something is wrong with yours. Are the same accounts showing closed? Credit limits the same?

Mine is lower too. I suspect that it is taking into account something that was recently deleted. I also get turned down whenever a creditor checks TU. My TU is better than Equifax now (the one I see, anyway), and I don't get turned down when they check Equifax.

I am trying to find out now what creditors are seeing when they order TU.

Incidentally the thing that was deleted was a judgment that was vacated by the court, so there is no reason for anyone to see it.

I have a 566 TU score, with no negatives whatsoever but a number of new accounts which were opened in the past 4-5 months. I was stunned when I found out how low my score was. I just paid off all of the revolving balances and made huge reductions in my installment loans, so we'll see if that makes much difference. My Equifax is 70 points higher and it basically has the same accounts but also a bankruptcy from '93 and two small open collection accounts. Go figure.

Do you have a number of new accounts or is your balance to limit ratio high???

I have 651 on EFX (that's from 3 months ago, haven't checked lately), 679 EXP, 615 TU. With TU having a higher ceiling, that makes this pretty low.

My eqfx was 605 in July and my TU was 590. TU is my worst report most likely because I lived in Minnesota and Michigan before moving here to KC.
